“The Little Explorer” was captured in Al Fayoum, Egypt in November 2013. This photograph was a fourth-place winner in the Night Sky Beauty category of the Fifth International Earth and Sky Photo Contest by TWAN.
Taking the picture was the easy part. The hardest was convincing the kid to standstill for 30 seconds exposure!
It took around 2 hours and half of trail and error till I got this. Here is another variation that I never published before:
